With this wireless Nedis SmartLife video doorbell you always know if there is someone at your door, no matter where you are. As soon as your visitor rings the doorbell or, thanks to motion detection, even approaches your front porch, you’ll receive a push notification on your smartphone. You can then start a video call, asking the courier to drop off the parcel at your neighbours or tell that salesman you’re not interested - all without opening the door. Given that you’re able to respond from any location in the world as long as your smartphone has an internet connection, this also increases home security. The HD camera (720p) has a 100° viewing angle and supports night vision, enabling you to clearly see who is at your door 24 hours a day. No worries if you don’t have time to answer the door. A still image is saved in the cloud, and video recordings are stored on a microSD card (not included) so you can watch them any time you like. The wireless video doorbell is easy to install as it doesn't require any power cables or other wires as it has an included rechargable battery. Recharge the video doorbell through it's micro-USB port (no cable included). Can I adjust the volume and tone of the WIFICDPC10BK wireless chime?
Unfortunately this battery powered doorbell does not have this option. The wired WIFICDP10GY doorbell does allow you to change the tone and volume.
I can't find the doorbell settings menu to pair the gong.
Unfortunately the manual that comes with the doorbell is incorrect. We were too late to change it when we found out but we did add a small extra manual on how to pair the gong. Move the gong as close to the doorbell as possible. Give the gong's button a short press: the LED starts to blink Now press and hold the doorbell's button until the LED on the gong stops blinking and it is paired. It is not possible to change the tone and volume on this doorbell model.
How do I pair the gong to the WIFICDP20xx doorbell?
1. Place the gong as close to the doorbell as possible during the installation. 2. Press and hold the button on the chime for 5 seconds , led on the chime flashes. 3. Shortly press chime reset button. The led will start blinking slowly. 4. Hold doorbell button until the Led on the chime stops flashing 5. Push the doorbell button to test it 6. Relocate the chime to the desired location 7. Push doorbell again to test the range
The camera does not recognise the QR code
Please try the EZ mode installation Reset the camera by holding down the reset button until you hear the sound Open the app and tap + > camera > tap on QR code and select EZ mode > confirm it was reset > fill in the credentials of your 2.4Ghz wifi network > the installation will start: immediately walk towards your router with your phone to aid the installation
Does it work with Google Home (HUB)?
No, this device is not compatible with Google/NEST Home (HUB) The videostream is at moment not working with Google/NEST Hub.
Can I use a really fast ultra/extreme/Evo/pro/canvas memory card in this device?
These type of cards can have compatibility issues and we recommend you use a regualr speed Class 10 card.
